Refund & Returns Policy

At Burnouts Unlimited, we take pride in manufacturing and supplying high-quality Australian-made fabrication components, performance parts, and motorsport products. If you experience an issue with your order, we’re here to help.

Returns

Our return policy is valid for 30 days from the date your order is delivered. If more than 30 days have passed, we may be unable to offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be unused and uninstalled
  • Be in its original condition
  • Be returned in its original packaging where possible
  • Include proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of many of our products, the following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or supplied incorrectly:

  • Custom-made or made-to-order products
  • Products manufactured to customer-supplied drawings or specifications
  • Custom laser-cut parts
  • Products that have been welded, painted, powder coated, modified, machined or otherwise altered
  • Products damaged through incorrect installation, misuse or accident
  • Clearance, discontinued or sale items (unless faulty)

Vehicle Fitment & Compatibility

Many Burnouts Unlimited products are designed for custom fabrication or modified vehicles.

It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm the product is suitable for their application before purchasing.

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Incorrect product selection
  • Clearance issues
  • Interference with aftermarket components
  • Fitment issues caused by modified vehicles
  • Products purchased without confirming measurements or compatibility

Raw Steel Products

Many of our products are supplied in a RAW steel finish.

Surface rust, mill scale, laser cutting marks or minor cosmetic imperfections are normal characteristics of untreated steel and are not considered defects.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If you receive:

  • The wrong item
  • A damaged item
  • A manufacturing defect

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging

We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement, repair or refund where appropriate.

Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome.

If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method. Processing times vary depending on your payment provider.

Shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is the result of our error.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged during transit
  • Incorrectly supplied

If you require a different size or product, please contact us before returning your item.

Return Shipping

Unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

For high-value items, we recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as Burnouts Unlimited cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If a product has a major fault, you are entitled to a replacement, repair or refund as provided by Australian Consumer Law.
