LAST MINUTE NATS CANCELLED

Friday, 03 March 2010

Bad News!! The Last Minute Nats event which was to be held on April 3rd 2010 has been canceled.

I have been working with authorities to try and resolve a number of issues and have just run out of time.

When the concept was proposed last week it was a genuine attempt to provide an alternative to the canceled EasterNats event, however, following meetings which occurred as a result of the response to the a recent event in Melbourne, the consequence of which has changed the thinking of the authorities in relation to the running of the Last Minute Nats at this time.

I apologize for any inconvenience and I assure you that this will not affect any future events and I have an assurance from the authorities for their support when running similar types of events in the future.

Kindest regards,

Adam Ronke

20th March 2010 – Three Kings Challenge

Friday Night – Street King & Main Street Burnout Comp

Friday Night Main Street Cafe Burnout comp will still be run as usual from around 8:30pm.

If a person chooses not to run on Friday night and save their car for the Saturday then that is their choice.

Only burnouts completed on the Friday night will go towards the overall series points tally.

This Friday night we will be running a Street King Challenge with $100 prize money and a trophy for the winner for both bikes and cars

All racing will be run in dial your own format

Qualifying will be from 6-7pm and eliminations from 7:20 to finish

If a person chooses not to be a part of this that’s fine and they can keep running all night in between eliminations with unlimited runs

Once a person has been eliminated they also can keep running for the rest of the night until finish

Fastest car or bike remaining that has not had a bye run will get the next bye run, if there is one to be had.

Once the round has been run all wining car and bikes must return straight to the winners staging lane.

If a person does not return to the winners lane and the next round has started then they will be disqualified.

There will be no cool down between rounds other than the time it takes to seed the cars and bikes for the next round.

Dial ins can be changed before each round. Drivers must check the dial in on the display boards before starting their run, If they are wrong they must inform the starter as there will be no reruns.

Saturday – Drag King

Saturdays drag racing meeting will be starting a little early this weekend at 10am gates will be open from 8am

Due to popular demand and to give every driver the most out of the last meeting for the year it will be run in Chicago Shootout format

Every racer will get 3 rounds of qualifying and 3 rounds of racing followed by a final

Racing will go until finished even if that means going past the estimated finish time of 3pm

There will be no eliminations and the two best and most consistent drivers will go onto the final

Chicago shootout style

3 Qualifying Runs

3 Rounds of Racing – No round Losers or eliminations

The two competitors with the most points after 3 rounds will contest the final.

One point is awarded for a win.

If more than two competitors are on equal points after the last round the finalists will be determined by the following method.

The two competitors with the most points that was closest to their dial in the last round

(a breakout run is counted as a lose and will not considered in these calculations).

In the remote possibility that we still have a tie, the competitor that ran first (time of day) will be deemed to be the other finalist.

Saturday – Burnout King

Burnout King will start immediately after the finish of Saturdays drag racing. Estimated start time is 3pm

Pre Entry for the burnout comp is $50 or $60 on the day.

The same scoring system will be used for Saturday as what has been used for the Friday night competitions

There will be 4 judges chosen at random to score the burnouts.

Entry forms and a complete set of the rules can be downloaded directly from our web site.
